Toivo Antikainen, Finnish communist who escaped to Soviet Union after Finnish civil war, then fought against Finnish intruders in Soviet Karelia during the 1920's, also led underground activities in Finland when Finnish Communist party was banned, was captured and trialed in the 1930's and given to the Soviet Union in 1940, during the peace between the Winter war and the Continuation war. Officially he died accidentally in 1941, but there are witness accounts that he was killed or committet suicide under the pressure of Soviet secret police.
