English: This true-color image of Hurricane Bonnie was captured on the morning of July 5, 2022 at 10:10 A.M. CDT (15:10 UTC), by the Advanced Baseline Imager (ABI) instrument flying aboard NOAA's GOES 16 satellite. Bonnie was a tropical system that originated from the Atlantic side of the Americas. It was the first storm since Otto in 2016 (5 1/2 years before) to cross from the Atlantic to the Eastern Pacific. At the time this was captured Bonnie was churning off the state of Michoacán in Mexico as a Category 3 Major Hurricane with winds of 115 mph (185 km/h) (100 knots) on the 1-min Saffir-Simpson scale and a minimum central pressure of 964 mbar (28.5 inHg).
