English: Matt Gordon, Flying Tiger c. 1943 and fiancee of the Black Dahlia. I believe that this picture was taken in China in the early to mid 1940s so should be copyright free under Chinese copyright law.

This picture was taken in the United States. The plane shown is a biplane, a training aircraft. The AVG Flying Tigers flew P40 Warhawks, which were monoplanes. Therefore it is probably copyright by whoever took the photograph in the United States.
