Ві́льям Ві́тні (англ. William Nuelsen Witney; нар. 15 травня 1915 — пом. 18 березня 2002) — режисер, автор одного з улюблених дитячих серіалів «Лессі». У Голлівуді Вітні з'явився ще хлопчаком спочатку працював кур'єром. Свій перший фільм він відзняв у віці 21 року, а за сорокалітню працю в кінематографі створив понад шістдесят художніх стрічок.

Помер у Каліфорнії у віці 86 років у будинку для перестарілих.
