Serhiy Oleksandrovych Mishchenko - Former President of the National Fencing Federation of Ukraine, First Vice President of the National Fencing Federation of Ukraine (2021), Honorary Member of the National Olympic Committee, Deputy Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the preparation and holding of the 2008 European Fencing Championships in Kyiv, Member of the Board of the All-Ukrainian Association of Automobile Importers and Dealers, Member of the Competitiveness Council of Ukraine, Chairman of ILTA - official importer of Peugeot cars in Ukraine.
Serhiy Oleksandrovych graduated with honours from the Faculty of International Economic Relations of the Kyiv State University in 1978. In 1987 he defended his dissertation on "Statistics of world trade in agricultural and food products."
From 1978 to 1980 he worked as a translator in the staff of the counselor of the USSR Embassy in the People's Democratic Republic of Yemen.
From 1980 to 1982 he was an economist at the Institute of Socio-Economic Problems of Foreign Countries of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. After graduating from the Institute of Economics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, he was a junior researcher at the Council for the Study of Productive Forces of the Ukrainian SSR (1985-1986).
During 1986-1990 he held the positions of researcher, senior researcher at the Center for Research of Scientific and Technical Potential of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
Since 1990 he has been the head of Ilta LLC (the official importer of Peugeot cars in Ukraine). Mishchenko was also the chairman of the supervisory board of the investment company ITT Invest, headed by Oksana Markarova.
Ilta LLC, the official importer of Peugeot cars in Ukraine, was founded in 1991. Summing up the results of the European Fencing Championships held in Kyiv from July 5 to 10, 2008, the company presented an unprecedented gift to the best Ukrainian fencer - a Peugeot 207 sports car.
In order to further maintain the high status of Ukrainian fencing, on September 4, 2008 Ilta signed an agreement with the National Fencing Federation and received the honorary and responsible title of official sponsor of the NFCU.
Among Ilta's many social projects, cooperation with the Molodist International Film Festival is the most crucial.
In the 27 years of the company's existence, more than 26,000 Peugeot cars have been sold.
